Overview
Street Ledger is an offline-first mobile game. We do not require an account to play. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and how you can exercise your rights under GDPR and other applicable privacy laws.
Data we collect
Data stored locally on your device
- Game save data including progress, cash, inventory, crew state, and settings
- Tutorial completion state
This information stays on your device unless you back it up through your operating system or device manufacturer tools.
Data we do not collect directly
- No account registration inside the app
- No in-app analytics SDK in the current release
- No sale of personal data
Data processed by third parties
If you install or update the app through Google Play, Google may process device and transaction information under its own privacy policy. We receive only the information Google provides to developers for app distribution, support, and compliance, such as crash reports if you opt in through Google Play.
How we use data
- To provide and restore gameplay on your device
- To respond to support requests you send us
- To comply with legal obligations and Google Play policy requirements
Legal bases (GDPR)
- Contract / service delivery: storing game progress so the app works
- Legitimate interests: replying to support email and preventing abuse
- Legal obligation: responding to lawful requests where required
Retention
Local save data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and meet legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA, UK, or another region with similar rights, you may:
- Request access to personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request data portability where applicable
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority
How to delete your data
You can delete your Street Ledger data in any of these ways:
- On device: uninstall the app or clear app storage in Android settings. This removes local save data stored by Street Ledger.
- By email: send a deletion request to info@retrobymistake.com with the subject "Street Ledger data deletion". Include the Google account email used on your device if you contacted us about Play-related records. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.
Because gameplay saves are stored locally, uninstalling the app is usually the fastest way to remove your game data completely.
Children
Street Ledger is not directed at children under 13, or the minimum age required in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data and we will delete it.
International transfers
If you email us, your message may be processed on systems located outside your country. We take reasonable steps to protect that information and use it only to handle your request.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised when that happens.
